Das dynamische Fassadensystem aus Aluminium ist von den Flusslandschaften Österreichs inspiriert. Das parametrisch generierte Lochbild leitet sich von den natürlichen Flussverläufen österreichischer Flüsse ab und wird in eine funktionale Gebäudehülle übersetzt.
Die automatisierten Faltelemente können auf Umwelteinflüsse reagieren und passen sich aktiv an – für optimalen Sonnenschutz, Belüftung und visuelle Transformation im Tagesverlauf. So entsteht eine Oberfläche, die sich wie Wasser bewegt, fließt und verändert – eine architektonische Hommage an den Rhythmus der Natur.
Gefertigt aus präzise gestanzten Aluminiumplatten verbindet das System digitale Fertigungstechnologien mit einer poetischen Verbindung zur Natur. Die Fassade ist zugleich leistungsstarke Gebäudehülle und kinetische Skulptur – Architektur als lebendiger Ausdruck der österreichischen Wasserlandschaften.

This dynamic aluminium façade system draws its form and motion from the flowing topographies of Austria’s river landscapes. Designed through parametric modeling, the façade panels respond to environmental conditions with automated folding movements, providing adaptive shading, ventilation, and visual transformation throughout the day.
Each folding element references the sinuous patterns of austrian rivers, translating hydrological flow into a functional skin. The result is a surface that appears to ripple and shift—echoing the natural rhythms of water—while maximizing energy efficiency and user comfort.
Crafted in precision-formed aluminium, the system blends advanced digital fabrication with a poetic connection to nature. It is both high-performance envelope and kinetic sculpture, where architecture becomes a living reflection of Austria’s waterways.
